About Lisa Niverson

Lisa is the Senior Tax Manager and owner of Niverson & Associates. She has been working in public accounting for over 25 years, gaining valuable experience at various firms all over Washington, including the Spokane, Everett, Tacoma, Bellevue and Seattle areas, before starting her own tax and accounting firm in Maple Valley. She has many years of experience in financial statement preparation, auditing and attest services, as well as tax preparation and consulting for all entity types, including individuals, small businesses, estates and trusts, nonprofit entities, payroll and state tax returns.

She received her Associates of Arts & Sciences degree- majoring in Accounting, while still in high school, and went on to graduate early from Eastern Washington University with Honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts-Business Administration degree, majoring in Professional Accounting.

As your local CPA, she takes great pride in being able to serve the needs of her clients, from preparation and review of individual 1040 returns to small business tax, accounting, planning and financial statement preparation. With experience as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she also provides QuickBooks training and consulting.

Lisa was adopted as a young child, and was raised on a cattle ranch in Eastern WA. She grew up raising horses and beef cattle, attended 4-H and FFA, showed horses and competed in junior rodeo competitions, ran tractors and farming equipment, and helped with the hay and wheat harvests on the ranch, learning the importance of being responsible for livestock and building a strong work ethic.

She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, the majority of which is spent with her pets on her mini ranch in Maple Valley, caring for her horses, pet mini KuneKune pigs, Irish Wolfhound and two feisty orange cats, who run the show. She enjoys working with animals, training and working with horses, horseback riding, hiking, camping and fishing, as well as being in the garden, when the weather is good.
